We used to live here until moving to North Carolina in June. Our dog since he was a puppy (now 6) we had taken him here. My dog had been suffering with itching and biting on his skin, so much to the point where practically every part of his body that he could reach was raw and bloody. We had seen the veternians repeatedly about this, spending hundreds of dollars on tests that concluded nothing. When we moved to North Carolina a couple of months ago and went to see the vets here about an ear infection, right off the start with no tests simply put him on apoquel: After about a month all his hair had grown back and he was no longer itching or biting. My point is, the veterinarians here are old fashioned and don't know basic medicine. Would not recommend, my dog suffered for years. (Also very expensive).

From the first puppy visit to those difficult last moments, Dr. John Gruss, Dr. Kathy Gruss and their colleagues listen carefully to concerns, provide thoughtful diagnoses and thorough explanations, and finally follow-up to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. Our golden retrievers are our furry children and we are so grateful for the many years of great care at Earlysville Animal Hospital.

Accredited animal hospital. Several vets. Great serviced. Our two diabetic cats board there occasionally. They each have a two cage combo to move around.
